KSH Safety Services can announce this evening that we are continuing our sponsorship of St Helens Town AFC for the second season with a pitch side board and programme adverts.
St Helens Town AFC was initially formed in 1901 (reforming in 1946) and was the first club of former German POW and later Manchester City FA Cup winning goalkeeper Bert Trautmann, and featured in the movie "The Keeper" earlier this year.
They play their matches in the North West Counties League Division 1 North at the ArcOframe Stadium, on the Ruskin Drive Sports Complex, St Helens.
Up to date details of upcoming fixtures are available from their Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/sthelenstownfc) and website (http://www.sthelenstownafc.com).
Announcing the sponsorship today, the club tweeted "Many thanks to @ksh_safety who have renewed their pitch side board at the @Arcoframe Stadium this season 'new board' installed very soon #sthelens"
The Owner of KSH Safety Services, Kevin Heywood, a health and safety consultant and trainer, added "I am pleased that we are again sponsoring a local sporting team, allowing us to put a little back into our community. I wish them every success for the season".
